About

Hi, I’m Jody Beck — founder of Knuckle Sandwich Robotics Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to helping students punch above their weight in robotics.

I’m a licensed engineer and lifelong problem-solver with a passion for competition and hands-on learning. As a kid, I was all about racing — whether it was go-karts or remote control cars, I was constantly tweaking, tuning, and trying to win. That drive to improve and compete still fuels me today, and it’s a big part of how I coach and mentor young robotics teams.

With years of experience coaching award-winning VEX IQ teams, I know what it takes to build strong programs from the ground up. I partner with schools and community organizations to elevate their robotics efforts by offering coaching, curriculum development, classroom setup, and training for teachers and mentors. I don’t just want kids to participate. I want them to compete, learn to love engineering, and build the confidence that comes from doing hard things well.

Every child should have the resources

around them to pursue their dreams.
