VEX IQ Robotics Camp: Design, Build, Compete at the University of West Alabama
Join Knuckle Sandwich Robotics, Inc. (KSR) for an exciting week-long VEX IQ Robotics Camp! This hands-on, competition-driven camp is designed for students in grades 5–8 who are interested in robotics, engineering, coding, and teamwork. Whether students are brand new to robotics or already have experience, the camp is structured to support a wide range of skill levels while creating a fun, engaging, and challenging learning environment.
Throughout the week, students will work in teams to build, program, test, and improve a VEX IQ competition robot modeled after the current VEX IQ' new game Level Up. Campers will experience the full engineering process used by robotics teams, including robot construction, driver control programming, autonomous coding, strategy development, engineering notebook documentation, mock judge interviews, and live competition play.
The camp follows a progressive structure:
Build and understand the robot
