VEX V5 Robotics Camp: Design, Build, Code at UWA
Join Knuckle Sandwich Robotics, Inc. (KSR) for an exciting week-long VEX V5 Robotics Camp at UWA! This hands-on robotics camp is designed for students in grades 7–12 who are interested in robotics, engineering, programming, and technical problem-solving. Whether students are brand new to VEX V5 or already have robotics experience, the camp is structured to support a wide range of skill levels while providing a challenging and engaging engineering-focused environment.
Throughout the week, students will explore advanced robotics systems using the VEX V5 platform through guided technical activities, programming exercises, mechanical demonstrations, engineering notebooking, and hands-on robotics challenges. Rather than focusing on building a single competition robot from scratch or running a formal tournament, this camp emphasizes understanding how high-level robotics systems are designed, programmed, documented, and improved.
Campers will gain exposure to:
Advanced robot construction techniques
Drivetrain and mechanism design
